Michael Annett's No. 46 NASCAR stock car destroyed in fire

HScott Motorsports lost two NASCAR stock cars Thursday after a fire started in their car-carrying trailer. The team was transporting the Number 46 cars to Texas Motor Speedway in Dallas when the fire happened outside Tyler, Texas. Michael Annett, who competes full-time in the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series, is listed as the driver of the car. A spare vehicle from the organizations headquarters in the Carolinas is already enroute. The company operates out of Spartanburg and Mooresville.

Olympic Soccer Star Gets Physics Lesson with Blue Angels

Soccer star Kelley O’Hara of Peachtree City was a little unsteady on her feet, but laughing and joyful as she stepped down from a Blue Angel’s F18 at Falcon Field.  FOX 5 was there as O’Hara arrived back at the airport after a 45 minute ride.  She told us, with hands raised in triumph as if just scoring a goal, “I didn’t throw up!  I didn’t pass out!”
