Howard siblings watch Bucs victory in style

TAMPA (FOX13) - With the help of the Buccaneers, a Tampa Bay family who lost two family members on the same day was given a reason to smile on Sunday.

The team invited the four Howard siblings, ages 6 to 13, along with their family, to watch the Bucs take on the Atlanta Falcons in a luxury suite at Sunday's game.

The children lost both of their parents in car crash on Halloween night near their home in Newborn, Georgia. A state trooper cared for them until their grandmother could move them up to Sarasota to be with her the next day.

"Just to see the kids happy, it's awesome. That's all I'm worried about, is making sure they're happy and they're having a good time," said aunt Sharlee Dismuke.

When the Buccaneers learned 13-year-old Justin Howard was a big fan, they invited his family to Tampa for exclusive access to the Bucs practice on Friday, in addition to an autograph session with players. Justin wore his signed hat and football gloves to Sunday's game.

"I feel like a king!" said Justin, as he looked down on his favorite team in action from his suite. "It's awesome. I'm glad that I get to be here with my family."

His younger siblings said their favorite part about watching the game from a suite was the food, the air conditioning and the sound of the cannons firing when the Bucs scored

Team officials said their goal was to provide the family with a few lasting, happy memories after a month of hardship.
