Blizzard Warning in metro area, SW Minnesota through Sunday

A Blizzard Warning was declared Saturday for the following counties: Wright, Hennepin, Anoka, Ramsey, Washington, Dakota and Goodhue County until 7 a.m. Sunday.

As of late Saturday morning, all state highways in south west Minnesota were closed, and plows were pulled from the roads.

BAD DRIVING CONDITIONS

According to Minnesota State Patrol from early Friday to Sunday morning, there were 405 crashes and 911 spinouts. Of the crashes, 451 involved injuries, two of them serious and one fatal in Medina, Minn.
