Naveen Andrews has joined the second season of “The Cleaning Lady,” FOX’s critically acclaimed crime drama, as a series regular. What happens when a can’t-miss talent joins a must-watch show? In the case of “The Cleaning Lady,” probably a lot of on-screen drama — and if audiences are lucky, maybe a love triangle, too.

Movie review: John Boyega gets a dramatic showcase in ‘Breaking’
Within the first 10 minutes of "Breaking" a man walks into a bank and hands the teller a note comprised of four words: "I have a bomb." From there the film becomes a tense, mostly real-time thriller with a masterful central performance from "Star Wars" star John Boyega as a former Marine driven to the edge by a cruel, broken bureaucratic system.

Watch at home: ‘Elvis’ is an epic, gaudy biopic fit for a king
With "Elvis," the absurdity is part of the point. It’s important to know that going in, otherwise the film’s frenetic opening act might be completely off-putting instead of just mildly overwhelming. Having established his signature glittering style with movies like "William Shakespeare's Romeo + Juliet," "Moulin Rouge!" and "The Great Gatsby," director Baz Luhrmann now turns his camp-flavored maximalism to the King of Rock 'n' Roll, Elvis Presley. And while the result is profoundly uneven, the highs are too high (and too outrageous) to be missed.
‘Uncharted’ is #1 on Netflix, but is it any good?
If "Uncharted" was a treasure chest, here’s the assorted loot you’d find inside: Two slam-bang action set-pieces, some lackluster plotting, a charming leading man turn from Tom Holland, an ensemble of wasted supporting players and a woefully miscast Mark Wahlberg. Does that add up to a hidden treasure or a disappointing haul? Well, that lies in the eyes of the fortune hunter.

‘Sharp Stick’ review: Lena Dunham returns with a provocative comedy
"Sharp Stick," Lena Dunham's first feature since 2010’s "Tiny Furniture" (she made HBO’s "Girls" in the interim), certainly feels like the product of a woman reflecting on more than a decade in the spotlight, with all the praise, criticism and controversy that entails. Film critic Clint Worthington reviews this for-adults-only comedy.
‘Hypochondriac’ review: A ‘Donnie Darko’-inspired queer horror movie

It follows dashing spy Cassian Andor (Diego Luna) during the formation of the Rebel Alliance. And while the series was originally supposed to premiere in late August, the show’s splashy new trailer reveals it’s now arriving in late September instead.
Now streaming: Pixar’s ‘Lightyear’ is an emotional, mind-bending space odyssey
"Lightyear," now streaming on Disney+, isn’t quite Pixar at its most emotionally potent. But there’s enough emotional potency and clever plotting to make "Lightyear" a solid addition to Pixar’s ever-growing roster of family flicks.
