UNLV football team to wear helmets honoring massacre victims
(FOX NEWS) - The University of Nevada, Las Vegas football team is honoring the victims of Sunday's mass shooting by wearing "Las Vegas" ribbon decals on their helmets instead of the team logo.
UNLV, whose campus is just a few miles from where the attack took place, said the team will wear the special helmets all season.
The university also plans to honor the victims and first responders in a pregame ceremony and throughout Saturday's game, which it has dubbed "Heroes Night."
