Northeastern University women's basketball team pushes bus out of the snow
PHILADELPHIA - The Northeastern University women’s basketball team is in Philadelphia for the Colonial Athletic Association Tournament. While the team is hoping to make a run at a conference title, they showed that Mother Nature was not going to get in their way.
A powerful nor’easter storm slammed the city while the basketball team was practicing at Saint Joseph’s University. But as the team was heading back to their hotel, their bus got stuck in the snow.
But the players and coaches were able the bus back on track after pushing the large vehicle forward and moving again. The Huskies posted video of their triumph on their Twitter and Facebook pages. (Watch the video above)
Northeastern will face Delaware in the CAA Tournament quarterfinals Thursday afternoon.
