The world's largest cruise ship is set to begin its maiden voyage this weekend.
Royal Caribbean’s Symphony of the Seas has already set sail this week, leaving its port in France for Spain. The ocean liner's maiden cruise will originate from Barcelona on Saturday.
The Symphony will spend its first season of cruising in the Mediterranean before making its way to its home port of Miami in the fall.
The 228,000-ton ship is 18 floors high, can carry over 6,600 passengers, and is about the length of the Empire State Building. The vessel features a laser tag area, a 10-story racing slide, rock climbing, and ice skating.
The Symphony takes over the title of world’s largest cruise ship from the line’s Harmony of the Seas.
