Men wanted for Florida shootout may be in metro Atlanta

FAYETTE COUNTY, Ga. - Two men wanted in an attempted homicide in Florida could be in metro Atlanta.

Authorities are looking for 27-year-old Jonathan James Harris and his unknown accomplice.

Surveillance video, which some may find disturbing, shows the whole crime. Investigators said Harris was driving a silver Lexus sedan that drove up on the right and fired shots from the car before driving off.

Fayette County deputies found Harris's car abandoned Friday morning parked off Goza Road near Wildcat Way.

Officers placed nearby Whitewater High School on lockdown as they searched the area.

Investigators believe the car was left overnight and Harris has moved on.
