UGA fans Jim and Lorrie Dionne of Temple are on Cloud Nine. They just scored two free tickets to the College Football National Championship.

Jim's name was chosen in a drawing at the Hooters Restaurant in Douglasville. The drawing was put on by Hooters and radio station 680 The Fan.

Both Jim and Lorrie are from Georgia and say they've been UGA fans since they were kids.

"In 1980 I watched when Hershel Walker played, I watched it with my daddy, and now to be able to watch it with my husband, will be amazing," said Lorrie Dionne.

The couple said going to the game to see two amazing teams in the new stadium is the chance of a lifetime.

Monday night, the Georgia Bulldogs will take on the Alabama Crimson Tide inside Atlanta's Mercedes-Benz Stadium, but it will cost big bucks to attend.  According to TicketIQ, this is the most expensive National Championship game since 2011 with an average $2,232 for the cheapest seats. The website noted the less the fans have to travel to the game, the higher the ticket prices.

Many fans have been facing sticker shock as they search for a place to sit for the biggest college football matchup of the season.  That has spurred hundreds of people to drive to the Hooters located on Douglas Boulevard in Douglasville to enter their name into a drawing for two free tickets to the game.

"I'm so excited," said Lynn Horn, who entered her name Thursday morning.  "I've been a fan of theirs all my life.  So, I can't wait [iun]til Monday.  I think we can do it."

Horn said a co-worker told her about the drawing and she immediately went to the restaurant to participate.

"I just snuck out and came right over," she laughed.

"Two tickets to the game is unbelievable, right?  We want our fans to make sure that they know that Hooters is the place to come and watch all the games," said Bruce Skala, vice president of marketing for Hooters.

Kickoff is Monday at 8 p.m.
