Hillary Clinton honored with medal at Harvard

Former first lady and Secretary of State Hillary Clinton was honored at Harvard University with the prestigious Radcliffe Medal for her transformative impact on society.

The Ivy League university says they chose Clinton for the award because she's a champion for human rights and an advocate of American leadership on the world stage.

Clinton thanked the crowd for the honor and shared her thoughts on the thawing relations with North Korea.

"I really want to see our country succeed as much as anybody," she said. "And I'm hoping there will be a chance to regroup and see if any of this is possible."

Previous medal recipients include former Secretary of State Madeleine Albright, Federal Reserve Chairman Janet Yellen, and Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg.
