A van filled with 40 dogs rescued from a collapsing animal shelter is now stuck in Anson County.

The roof of the Anson County Animal Shelter was coming down and the flood waters were rising, so the animals had to be evacuated to a different area.

The rescuers, who work with Dog4u, say they were going take the dogs to Columbia, SC but they can't anymore because flood waters are shutting down roads in the Chesterfield area. They're now stuck with the dogs loaded into crates in the van.
