D-backs outfielder Yasmany Tomas accused of reckless driving
PHOENIX (KSAZ) - Arizona Diamondbacks outfielder Yasmany Tomas was arrested Thursday on the Loop 101.
According to DPS, a trooper pulled Tomas over, after he was driving over 100 mph. Tomas, according to DPS, was arrested for reckless driving and criminal speeding, and was booked into the Fourth Avenue Jail.
Tomas' car, a 2015 Mercedes coupe, was impounded.
Tomas signed a six-year, $68 million contract with the Diamondbacks in 2016.
