Bull shark spotted in Chassahowitzka River
HOMOSASSA (FOX 13) - A photographer was snapping photos of manatees when an unexpected visitor swam near him.
David Schrichte said you never know what surprise can be around the corner in the Sunshine State. On Monday, he was on the Chassahowitzka River in Homosassa when a small bull shark came into his line of vision. he managed to capture the shark on video.
Bull sharks are considered one of the most dangerous sharks since they tend to hunt in waters where people often swim, according to the National Geographic. They also have the ability to transition between salt and freshwater. The sharks can eat almost anything, but their diet mainly includes fish.
This particular bull shark didn’t seem to acknowledge Schrichte, and quickly swam away from him.
