Banquet Salisbury Steak meals recalled for possible bone fragments
(FOX 13) - More than 100,000 pounds of Salisbury steak products are being recalled for possible contamination.
The USDA Food Safety Inspection Service says Conagra Brands is recalling approximately 135,159 pounds of Salisbury steak products that may be contaminated pieces of bone.
The products – Banquet Family Size 6 Salisbury Steaks & Brown Gravy - were produced on March 10, 2018.
The packages have lot code “5006 8069 10 05” and “BEST BY” date of “SEP 01 2019” printed on the package.
These items were shipped to retail locations nationwide.
The problem was discovered after consumer complaints. Three reports of injury were also made.
Anyone who bought this product should not eat it. The product can be returned or thrown away.
