It has been cold so at Campgaw Mountain in Mahwah, the staff has been busy preparing for the people relishing in this weather: skiers. Ski season in New Jersey has officially begun.

Over the last couple days the mountain has produced acres of snow. Now the real job begins with groomers working round the clock to make the four or five trails safe.  Campgaw is less than an hour from New York City, and a day pass costs $45. More info is available at skicampgaw.com.
