Brooklyn hoarder has neighbors upset
Imagine living next door to a hoarder. Residents on Avenue L in the Flatlands neighborhood of Brooklyn are outraged by their neighbor's home, accusing him of harboring rats, raccoons and too much junk.
They say the house is filled with so much garbage that the owner, John Dipietro, can't fit inside. Instead, they say he lives in a trailer parked on the street.
"He doesn't live on the inside. He lives on the outside. He has so much stuff he can't even fit," one neighbor said.
According to NYC's Department of Sanitation, the Department of Health, Adult Protective Services or FDNY would be involved in a hoarder situation.
