Becoming a Barbie doll
As Barbie gets a makeover for the first time in 57 years, Pixee Fox tells us she's had 16 surgeries, including the removal of six ribs, to look like the iconic doll.
Mattel broke the mold last month, adding curvy, petite and tall Barbies to its online store collection. The toy company said the doll is meant to replicate the shape of "real" women and plans to put the new Barbies in stores come March.
The change comes at a time when cosmetic procedures have skyrocketed in the U.S., with an estimated 15.6 million surgeries carried out in 2014.
